Poem - T1
We would like to thank each and every one of you for sharing this special day with us. We especially would like to thank our parents for all of their love, support and guidance. In the spirit of new beginnings, we would like to give you this seedling. We hope that you will plant it, nurture it, watch it take root and grow, just as we will grow together in our new life.

Poem - T3
We would like to thank you all for helping to make this day a special and memorable one for both of us. Please accept this seedling as our gift to you. Trees, like love, need to be nurtured in order to grow. We hope that you will care for it as you watch it grow, and that it will remind you of the love you have seen rooted here today. It is our wish that with constant attention and nurturing, our love, like your seedling, will continue to grow and blossom in our new life together.

Poem - T6
What words can ever tell the joy that is ours today, knowing that you shared the beginning of our life together. It means so much to receive your wishes for our happiness, on this the most important day of our new life. We both thank you deeply for your very thoughtful gifts and for all your good wishes!

Poem - T2
Thank you for being here to share in our special day. In the spirit of love and new beginnings, we hope that you will take this seedling and plant it in a special place.

Poem - T4
An Irish Blessing
May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and the rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again, may God hold you
in the hollow of his hand.

Poem - T5
Blessed are the man and the woman who have grown beyond themselves and have seen through their separations. They delight in the way things are and keep their hearts open, day and night. They are like trees planted near flowing rivers, which bear fruit when they are ready. Their leaves will not fall or wither. Everything they do will succeed.
The Book of Psalms - adapted by Stephen Mitchell

Poem - R1
There's a very special garden
Where the trees of memory grow
Nurtured by the kindness
And concern that good friends show.
The roots are cherished memories
Of good times in the past
The branches tender promises
That souls endure and last.
It's a place of peace and beauty
Where bright new hopes can start
It's memory's lovely garden
That soothes the hurting heart.

Poem - R3
They that love beyond the world
Cannot be separated by it.
Death is but crossing the world,
As friends do the seas;
They live in one another still.

-William Penn

Poem - V1
There is a bridge connecting Heaven and
Earth.  It is  called the Rainbow Bridge because of
its many colors.  Just this side of the Rainbow
Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys
with lush green grass.  When a beloved pet dies, the
pet goes to this place.  There is always food and
water and warm spring weather.  The old and frail
animals are young again.  Those who are maimed
are made whole again.  They play all day with each
other.  There is only one thing missing.  They are
not with the special person who loved them on Earth.
So, each day they run and play until the day comes
when one suddenly stops playing and looks up!
The nose twitches! The eyes are staring!  And this
one suddenly runs from the group.  You have been
seen, and when you and your special friend meet,
you take him or her in your arms and embrace.
Your face is kissed again and again, and you look
once more into the eyes of your trusting pet.  Then
you cross the Rainbow Bridge together,
never again to be separated.

Poem M-1
Patriotism is easy to understand in America ~
It means looking out for yourself
by looking out for your country.

~Calvin Coolidge

Poem M-3
The patriot's blood is the
seed of freedom's tree.

~Thomas Campbell

Poem - R2
To everything there is a season,
And a time to every purpose under the heaven.
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck
that which is planted;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to get, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to love, and a time to hate;
A time of war, and time of peace.

-Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Poem - R4
Life is eternal; and love is immortal;
And death is only a horizon;
And a horizon is nothing
Save the limit of our sight.

-Rossiter Worthington Raymond

Poem - V2
...Grieve not, nor speak of me with tears,
but laugh and talk of me as if I were beside you...
I loved you so - 'twas Heaven here with you.

-Isla Paschal Richardson

Poem V-3

Somewhere in time's own space
There must be some sweet pastured place
Where creeks sing on and tall trees grow
Some Paradise where horses go.
For by the love that guides my pen
I know great horses live again.

- Stanley Harrison

Poem M-2
Eternal Father, stretch out thy hand...
Protect the soldiers who defend our land.
And bid world leaders wars to cease...
Please give us everlasting peace.
Oh see our prayers with folded hands...
For soldiers deployed on foreign sands.

To celebrate our baby's birth,
Plant this tree into the earth.
When you water this baby tree,
Say a little prayer for thee.
Ask the Lord in heaven above
To bless our baby with his love.
So our child will grow to be
A very special gift to our family tree.

B-3
On my birthday keep in mind
A healthy world I hope to find.
Please take and plant this little tree
And let it grow for all to see.
For when you celebrate my birth
You'll also help restore the earth.

Poem - S2
Jesus said...
To watch you as you grow in faith will be our greatest reward.
May you always feel God's love and mercy in your
journey with the Lord.

May this tree seedling be a symbol
of the love of Jesus Christ ,
guiding you every day of your life.

Poem - S4
Our world reflects
a rich tradition of yesterday
and the bright promise of tomorrow
as you are called
to read from the Torah.

"It is a tree of life
for those who hold fast to it."

Poem - S6
Trees...
Manufacture 5 pounds of pure oxygen per day.
Consume CO2 to fight the "Greenhouse Effect"
that threatens our survival.
Provide the cooling equivalent of
10 room-sized air conditioning units.
Reduce fossil fuels used for heating & cooling.
Collect pollutants from the air.
Reduce noise pollution.
Produce homes for birds and small animals.
Enrich surrounding soil.
Prevent soil erosion.

Thank you all for coming here
As my arrival date draws near
Enjoy the laughter, food and cake
Thanks for the gifts and the joy they make
But when I'm born, please keep in mind
A healthy world I hope to find
Please take home a baby tree
And let it grow for all to see
For when you celebrate my birth
You'll also help restore the earth!

Poem - S1
Love and Married for so long
yet still our love
grows on and on.

Poem - S3
I am the bread of life
Whoever comes to me will never be hungry
and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
- John 6:35

May this tree seedling be a symbol
of the love of Jesus Christ ,
guiding you every day of your life.

Poem - S5
Stand tall and proud
Sink your roots deep into the earth
Be content with your natural beauty
Go out on a limb
Drink plenty of water
Remember your roots
And enjoy the view!

Poem - S7
May this seedling be
a symbol of
love and remembrance
to you and yours on this
Holiday Season.
